Artist description 7 Ton Diesel. The name alone calls forth visions of a Mack truck barrelling down the highway at 100+ mph, destroying everything in it's path. Well, that's not too far off the mark! As heavy as the name implies, 7 Ton Diesel are on a mission to bring the "heavy" back into heavy metal. Together for about 3 years now, 7 Ton has released 3 songs on Local 420 Records compilation One Time from The Backside in '98 and 2 songs on regional metal compilation Metal Music for the Millenium (in cooperation with Eyeless Kitty Productions and Local 420 Records) in '99. Recently the band has undergone some lineup changes with Eric Stopka replacing original vocalist Nathan Waters and Brian Culbertson replacing original guitarist Van Mumford. Together with original members Ray King on guitar, Shane Bransen on bass, and Johnny Wells on drums, 7 Ton is set to take on any and all comers. The band is scheduled to go into the studio with it's new lineup in Aug of 2000 to record the long awaited full length, Imapct = Force * Acceleration. As soon as we get some rough tracks from these sessions we'll throw them up here. Until then, enjoy these classic 7 Ton tracks.
