Artist History First formed in 2002 with the remaning members of the ingredient; Jason Hayden, Dave Bird, and Jason Fuller with the addition of former sebadoh dude Jason Lowenstein. Then as soon as he stopped showing up for practice we played with Britt Walford for a stint. Then.... after some confusion we asked Tony Bailey to play the drums and Donkey Bubble was born. Jeremy Harrell joined us for a tad, and will surely join us more in the future. We chose the name Verktum after much indecision. Some other name choices were, Donkey Bubble, Dog Condom, K-9 Lipstick, and Tip-Tip. Verktum was the name of my (Jason Hayden's) solo work, but no longer. Verktum played the first couple shows with everyone on vocals, wich is not what any of us wanted. We wanted a front man...... Darren Rappa filled those shoes and now we are complete.
