    Artist History
The Loons Till Death (aka the LTD's) began in 1981 when two junior high school students, Mike Sortino and Eric Paul Johnson, began to collaborate on parody versions of the terrible top 40 music of the day. Eventually they collaborated on parodies for radio stations KZZP, KLUN and KDBX in the 1980's.In the 1990's they recorded three popular local albums, "Jeff Quinlin Loves You," "The 7 Never Dims" and "Pastor Of Muppets"(tm and copyright). The LTD's are in the process of recording a new album for a new era. They have been called "The Wang Chung of the 21st Century" by the independent newspaper Yak Brain Stew. Wilfred Brimley of "Intestinal Digest" says "They stink. Be Warned."Some popular LTD's songs you haven't heard include "Pizza Burnin'," "I Buried The Hatchet In My Dad," "I Love Lawrence Welk," and the forthcoming "Willie Nelson's Gay Wife Stole My Wife (and Willie Don't Care)".Only one member of the LTD's has ever been forcibly restrained by mental health professionals, and it was only for one day.Rejected by Dr. Demento in three different decades. Mike is now a foxy chick named Cait, but it shouldn't affect your listening much.
