Artist History Growing up in the home of a Pastor always makes for a unique upbring, but a Pastor with 2 churches, one in Chicago, and one in Seattle, made for a huge palette of musical color, one that lended itself to the writing of a song/book. From Hymns to The Fifth Dimension, Motown to Southern Gospel Quartets, Lawrence Welk to Billy Preston, The Chi Lites to Steely Dan, Duke Ellington to Wynton Marsallis, The Rolling Stones to Andrea Crouch. I began listening when Mahalia was ending and am still listening whenever Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds lends his name to anything! I'll always remain a student of music, a lifetime learner, because this is the only subject that brings me such inner peace and fulfillment. As a professional studio musician and independent producer, I've been blessed to play with artists from The Rolling Stones & Stevie Wonder to James Cleveland, and am currently VP at Canafoundation (canafoundation.org). Diversity has always been a part of me and always will be if I have anything to say about it. I am an extremely wealthy man because my bank account is full of real family and friends.
