Artist description
Although the band no longer performs live, Dress for Success (aka: DFS) is a San Francisco Bay Area based 80's style Euro-pop retro synth-pop band. Among the multitude of rock genre artists, DFS sets itself apart from the mainstream by focusing on life, love and the spiritual wanderings we all take (as opposed to....all else). Playing the club music scene for over a decade, DFS have had multiple successes with their first independent release ("an e.p.") by being recognized on 3 continents (UK, Japan, Western Europe) as a revolutionary US import. Current work of the spin-off band, and songwriter, Jeff Blumer along with several DFS members, is Article of Faith, and you can hear how the material has progressed (or regressed!) at http://www.articleoffaith.com. |
