Artist description
Malice Intended is a six-piece, hard rock band, known for our original music and our violent guitar riffs. Our ever present Societal Anger is expressed taintlessly through our music's heart pounding double bass drums, and its spine chilling vocal harmonies. You will not see face paint or any fancy, fucking costumes, just long, thrashing hair and sleek tribal tattoos that burn our band's image into your mind. Our intent is best emphasized through our music. Read the lyrics carefully, and try to develop a conception to their meaning. We question many things, but first and foremost the ignorance of man. In all our advancements as a species we have ignored the most precious virtue of our existence. The veil has been lifted from our eyes… open yours and acknowledge the transcendence of man. For in it lies the path of our future. "Shadows scale the consecrated shrine of glory. For centuries they've wallowed in their miscarriage. The Darkness swallows up all illuminated thoughts, and gleans them in preparation for the descent."Brandon Cook (MALICE INTENDED) |

Artist History
The band's original name was PARIAH and was founded by Brandon Cook and Travis Addis, in Fayetteville, NC. PARIAH started as a five-piece band on January 1, 1998. The band was renamed MALICE INTENDED a year later after another act emerged using the name PARIAH. During the summer of 1999, they recorded a three-song demo CD at Osceola Recording Studios, in Raleigh, NC. The band had 15 hours to record and mix down the 3 tracks. Soon after BJ Privette left the band due to conflicts with members of the group. Unable to play shows without a bass player, they spent the next eight months composing new songs. On May 9, 2000, Brandon's brother Cory agreed to play bass for the band, making them whole once again. In October 2000 the band relocated to Greensboro, NC to expand the potential of the act. Long time friend Robin Foster was added to the line-up as a third guitarist, making MALICE INTENDED a six-man band. Currently they are making plans to conquer the world. |
