Artist History "Jon Valgeir Bernhard was born August 1966 and raised in Iceland. He began studying the piano at age 11 at the Classic Music Art School of Kopavogur in Iceland. JB was around the age of 16 when he became a piano bar entertainer. JB switched to Jazz and blues and soon fell in love with the music of Bill Evans. He enrolled in the high school of jazz in Iceland, FIH. He played a few local jazz gigs in Reykjavik and later in Copenhagen. He moved to Sweden in 1995. JB has now favoured us with his first solo album, “Afternoon Lady”. *OH. Friend!"
