Evan Hadley, a Portland-based singer, songwriter, guitarist, is known for his unique blend of eclectic pop "folk-jazz" blended with many other musical textures and layered over groove-oriented rhythms. Sharing the stage with such acts as Gene Loves Jezebel, Better than Ezra, Third Eye Blind, Taos Hum, and Pivot Foot, Hadley and his renowned group of classical and jazz musicians became well known at clubs, coffeehouses, and festivals. Artist History
Solo artist Evan Hadley began his acoustic venture in Southern California. He along with a classical guitarist toured local venues playing textured groove-oriented alternative. Several jazz players, hip to the scene became permanent sit-ins. After a move to San Francisco and a search for more members, provided Hadley the opportunity to release his CD's, Trona Project (c&p 1999), and then Joy Vacuum (c&p 2000). |
