Artist History
Chérie has sung with choirs since the second grade. Her talent and enthusiasm got her involved in performing live with some area bands at age 17. In May of 1997, Chérie released her first CD, ‘I Wish’. Chérie has appeared in concerts in Michigan and Ohio, appeared on both television and radio talk shows, as well as newspaper interviews. She also won a radio contest with Toledo country station K100, which earned her a spot in a contest during Country Concert ‘97, which featured such acts as LeAnne Rimes, Tracey Lawrence, Blackhawk and Bryan White. Recently, Chérie was nominated for Recording of the Year in the ‘99 Detroit Music Awards. To date, Chérie has performed The National Anthem for The Pittsburgh Pirates and The Detoit Tigers at their respective home games. Also her music is being heard on radio and in nightclubs in Philadelphia, Charlotte, Detroit, Chicago, Boston, Milwaukee, Atlanta, Seattle, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Columbus, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Houston and St. Louis. |
