Artist History 'Formed in 1999, Bluevale is a street name near the place where I grew up', says Peter Young. 'The street has some special childhood memories associated with it. But it all started years earlier with some friends in the early Seventies. We were a bunch of scruffy "almost teenagers" who really wanted to do music. One of the guys I played with at that time of innocence was Jim Kerr. Now, to this day, I'm not sure if he went on to bigger and better things with Simple Minds ... or was that another Jim Kerr? Never did find out'.
