Press Reviews
Melodic keyboard work and progressive drum rhythms combined with a solid
voice makes for a good band. And that's what you'll find in the work of
Blind Before Dawn, not only a good band but a great one. Combining the best
elements of a darker sound with the best elements modern synth-work, I look
forward to a full release from these guys. Seraphim, SynthCon

BLIND BEFORE DAWN
GENRE: SYNTHPOP
RATING 5 OUT OF 5:
REVIEWER - TAOIST
FROM THE FIRST FEW BARS OF "HAPPINESS" I COULD TELL THAT BBD ARE GOING TO BE BIG.
IT IS FOOT TAPPINGLY INFECTIOUS SYNTHPOP ALONG THE LINES OF MESH OR IRIS BUT WITH A REFRESHING SOUND OF IT'S OWN. BOUNCEY BEATS AND RAMPANT BASSLINES LAY THE FOUNDATIONS OF A VERY DANCEFLOOR FRIENDLY MIX, TOPPED OFF WITH LASHINGS OF POPPY, BLEEPY SYNTH.
THE WHOLE THING IS HIGHLY POLISHED AND PROFESSIONAL. THE TUNES ARE ALL VERY MEMORABLE AND IF DJ'S DON'T PLAY THIS STUFF AT THE HEIGHT OF THE NIGHT THEN BBD CAN JUDGE THEMSELVES HARD DONE BY- THIS STUFF IS GUARANTEED FLOOR FILLER - THERE ISN'T A A SINGLE DUFF TRACK AMONG THE FOUR ON THIS PROMO.
I CAN'T WAIT TO LISTEN TO THEIR FIRST ALBUM RELEASE. |
