Artist description
Among guitarists, many develop their own style after listening to and gaining inspiration from cutting edge blues, folk and rock legends. With harpists (the stringed type) this is all but unheard of. |

Artist History
A largely self-taught harpist, Ben Brown toured between 1985-1998. His championing the use of the cross strung chromatic harp and percussive blending of ethnic and classical music created a minor stir in the folk harp world. He presently resides in the Midwest and is involved with sustainable lifestyles and agrarian renewal both as themes for music and in his life. |
