Artist History
As a youth, he commenced his rhyming career while learning the lessons of the Five Percent Nation, reading various books, and also studying the street and its code of life. Among his favorite books, are The Art of War, Taoist Science, and several Iceberg Slim novels. Through his exploits Pikasoe has come across one artist - Pablo Picasso - who he felt best represented what he does, albeit in a different manner. Honing his lyrical skills from the early age of 9, Pikasoe has always used the world around him as inspiration. The Van Dyke projects, of Brownsville, Brooklyn were Pikasoe's school of hard knocks, teaching him life's lessons in a much faster and more intense manner. |
