Artist History My name is Drew Star. Before I began my career as a programmer I spent about $50,000 on credit cards and about 30,000 hours of my life preparing for a career as a rock star and building a recording studio. I also spent 9 years in college in pursuit of a Ph.D. in theoretical organic chemistry. During these years while I pursued my academic and musical goals I started up a recording studio called Pelicore. The studio became a leader in studio technology as we were the first to use computers to digitally edit sound back in the early 90's and had access to beta software that even major labels didn't own. Pelicore eventually split off into a company called Discmasters (the current studio) and the multimedia lab turned into a primordial ISP known as Psybercore.
