Artist description We are a four piece, guitar oriented rock band. The music we write is best represented by live performance. The recordings are fairly raw; the basic tracks are recorded live. There are minimal overdubs. Our first CD, "Lines On The Mirror" was actually recorded analog on a four track cassette machine. The original tape was mastered to DAT and then transferred to mp3 files. It is definitely a minimalist production. Yet, we believe the live sound comes through.

Musical Influences Janes Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 70's rock

Artist History We have been playing together in various combinations since our high school days back in the mid seventies. Jeff and Dennis first played together in Triaxe; a band that covered the Nugent, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, etc of the day. In 1981 Jeff, Joe and Dennis formed The Chase to write and perform original rock. However, we evolved into a working bar band doing the "five nights a week" circuit in St. Louis county. After a few years off, we came together again to form The End. Yet another Orcino was added to the band with Dave on bass guitar. We wrote and perform original tunes and turned out Lines On The Mirror on cassette. That band is called Orcino on mp3.com since there was already a band called The End. We have several other tunes recorded and will be debuting them here soon.
