Artist History
The music of Ghandi’s Garage is diverse, and therefore is difficult to categorize. This is probably why they are one of L.A.’s best-kept secrets. Most record companies won’t pick up a band that covers as much musical ground as the “Garage” does. Nevertheless, this band demands a good listen and their new release entitled “Open” is their canvas for you to enjoy. Drummer Daniel Villanueva lays down a firm & steady groove for Bassist Al Mora to punctuate. Guitarists Michael & Angel Villanueva fill the mid & upper register with superb chords & fills. All of this for Michael’s catchy & sophisticated melodies that are sung with passion. Special appearance by percussionist David Leach adds a worldwide appeal and Patty Hamm-Villanueva’s high register vocals glisten many of the songs. All of these songs are telling stories of the challenges we all face and struggle with during the course of our lives. Michael’s lyrics and songwriting talents have been recognized in local talent shows. |

Press Reviews
From Amazon.Com - ***Best Band You've Never Heard, December 22, 2000 Reviewer: Craig (see more about me) from Phoenix, AZ USA "I have seen these guys perform in several clubs. They are highly polished and the guitar solos are perfectly executed. Very reminiscent of Sting and Don Henley style, but still unique. No band quite like it out there today. I have heard nothing but rave reviews for these guys. Their concerts are a true magical experience". Ghandi's Garage Rocks!, November 17, 2000 Reviewer: A music fan from Scottsdale, AZ. USA "This band played here locally in Scottsdale AZ about a month ago and they sounded great! I bought their CD at the gig and found that they have not only a great sound, but the tunes are very catchy. I recommend this CD to all my friends and family. It should make a great gift for Xmas". |
