Artist History
The Floreans were formed in 1996 and began to make an impact on the northern Italian rock scene in the summer of 1997. In September of that year Blanket Bomber contributed material to a popular Italian television program. The group concentrated on live performances during most of 1998 and headlined several festivals as well as opening for the Fleshtones. In 1999 they released "Max," a gritty full length CD which received positive reviews both in Italy and abroad for its fresh, uncompromising sound. In September of 2001 the group teamed up with legendary San Francisco based producer Scott Mathews (John Hiatt, Dick Dale, John Wesley Harding among many others) and recorded an 11 song album, some of which can be heard here. The group is currently seeking US management while continuing to perform in Italy and throughout Europe. |
