Eagle Canyon Music, Coto de Caza Ca, and Adrienne Cockrum-Kirkey
announce the release of her new CD "The Child In My Heart." Adrienne's
new project includes 13 songs. 9 of the songs are originals written by Adrienne.
They cover a wide range of stories with the unique storytelling style she has
developed, and include subjects from patriotism to personal faith in God.
About the title song, Adrienne comments, "Each one of us has a small voice
that knows the best of all things for us. Sometimes, in the challenges of life,

Artist History
Adrienne's song "Sally Ann" received First Place this year in the National American
Heritage Music Songwriting Competition sponsored by the National Society
Daughters of the American Revolution, as well as First Place in the State of
California competition. "Sally Ann" is a poignant tribute to the faithfulness of a
young wife and mother as she prays hopefully for the safe return of the soldier
she loves. "Sally Ann" represents women throughout history who have embodied
patriotism and courage as they lovingly raise their children, patiently waiting for
