Artist History Witch Trial is a four member group from the seattle area that writes melodic ,yet agressive, pop songs dealing with self reliance, respect, freedom, and injustice. Made of of members from both coasts and with a collective background in a diverse range of bands Witch Trial brings an eclectic mix to the songwriting table and produces a powerfull and unique product that is both powerfull and relevant to the world today. By stressing the positive and avoiding the typicall self-centered introspection that has classicly made Emo inaccessable Witch Trial writes songs that deal with the world that is constantly changing around us and with the everyday problems we deal with in our lives. Not to say that witchtrial isn't politial ! Witch Trial is Political in the most efective of ways by addressing politics in a personal and tangible rather than using the typical utopian big picture preaching that most activist bands employ. When people understand something as it relates their own life it is much more likley that they will be motivated to change their world.
