Artist History After witnessing the fall of the Iron Curtain from East Germany, Ulgar and Volker travelled to the US with one desire burning in their hearts... TO BRING ROCK & ROLL TO THE MASSES. After living closely with Native Americans in the western states, they learned how to be at peace with the burning spirit of chaos they found inside of them. Combining this newfound spiritual enlightenment with the tough discipline of their youth, Ulgar & Volker hit the road with the concept of Whackenhutt. Playing small venues across the country, they met The Giant Head at a KISS concert in Tacoma. The Giant Head joined thier cause, and the band Whackenhutt was born. WHACKENHUTT --- You know what it means.
