Artist description
Inhabiting a landscape somewhere between the Wedding Present and a hopped-up Woody Guthrie is not an easy street to live on, but Ooga Booga seems comfortable in this odd neighborhood. Their music combines haunting lyrics, melodic undertones, disjointed harmonies and desperate rhythms that evoke memories of all the haunting characters-both imaginary and real- that live under beds, in closets and on street corners all around the world. |

Artist History
Former Milltown Grange 66, (a favorite late night after-party-college cover-band), members Nixon Waterhouse, M & Phontex Renny formed Ooga Booga. Sadly, singer/songwriter Nixon Waterhouse could not continue performing with the group after his unfortunate breakdown. Remaining members are currently going through some existing material on hard disk, tape, scraps of paper or whatever, in order to complete their long awaited E.P "We've come for your daughters." Meanwhile, fans remain hopeful for a healthy return of Nixon Waterhouse. |
