Artist History The nucleus of J.T.RED has been playing and recording together since 1984. Jimmy has been living music since 1973 when his band placed in the top 20 at the So.Cal. Battle of the bands at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. Jimmy uses every magnetic devise known to man including, Mesa Boogie Amps, Fender and Gibson Guitars & Basses. Tammy has been singing forever, playing keyboards and flute since jr. high. Tammy graduated from Central Methodist College with a double major in music. J.T. RED has enjoyed playing with many talented musicians over the years and thank every one of them for that priviledge. Although J.T.RED has no major credits yet collectively, Doug MacDougall (KEYS) has opened for major artists like Molly Hatchet, Wishbone Ash, Shooting Star, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Charlie Daniels Band and Commander Cody! Kelly Burns -(Drums) Hails from Colorado and has played in several bands with Jimmy. Kelly lays down a Super Groovy Pocket. Kelly and Jimmy have been in bands together since summer 1975. Butch Smith (SAX) has played with Joe Cocker, Dionne Warwick's touring band and many more. On the new record Jimmy has really "Found His Groove". Alot of folks have been asking what the new sound compares to - Jimmy says; - " This sound has been 30 years in the making" We'll be adding many new songs soon. - A Special " THANKS " to all of our Fans on MP3 for taking the time to listen and sign our guestbook.
