Artist History
i decline was formed out of the ashes of Jason and Joey Larocca's earlier band after the departure of their guitarist/bassist. Taking a new approach, they drafted Duck Matthews, and have developed a finely-polished-high-energy-punk-rock machine that is unstoppable. Coming from three completely different musical backgrounds has kept the music fresh and innovative. "Spy On Your Neighbors", the band's debut album, was released in early 2000. |

Press Reviews
"i decline is something else. Not like your typical punk rock band, these guys come out with a style and originality comparable to none. "Spy On Your Neighbors", their debut album, comes straight at you and leaves you wanting more. First off, these guys are amazing musicians. Jason rocks the guitar like no one else I know, Joey keeps a steady tempo on drums while he sings and Duck hits the bass strings with such ease. Then there are the lyrics, which are so clever and witty. You have "La La", about shallow pop songs, "Where Do We Stand", half of which is sung in French, and then "Paycheck" which goes, "Working without getting paid is like having sex without getting laid". Now come on, how many bands can come up with lyrics like that? Last is their presence. The songs have such personality that they just take you in. With themes of love (A Song To Sing), life (Bad Day), and loss (I'm Always Wrong), many of the songs are easy to relate to and can be catchy. Seeing these guys live is such a treat. I can assure you that you will be blown away by the talent that they possess. Definitely check them out if you get a chance, you will surely be pleased... and get the album."-JellaDaily Bread |
