Artist description From the backwoods of Upstate South Carolina, frontman of veteran rockers The Fencejumpers steps out to exorcize his 70's and 80's hard rock demons. Playing all the instruments on his upcoming release, new ground is broken for Lane as a songwriter as well as a performer.

Artist History The Fencejumpers formed in early 1996 as a bunch of roots-rock purists sought to bring true uninhibited rock and roll back into the spotlight. As 2004 approaches, Fencejumpers founder and co-frontman Heath "H-Bomb" Lane has decided to pursue a side-project of equal genuinity and power, but with a slightly different (and slightly edgier) twist. For this new endeavour, Heath has decided to handle most of the instrumental duties in the studio, and if enough interest arises a "live" band will be assembled. On the upcoming indie release, half of the songs were recorded entirely by Heath on his four-track, and the rest were pieced-together along with various other mercenary musicians. When the certainty of the band roster is finished (as well as the recordings), the band will attempt to gig around the Upstate and more, in hopes of finally taking the music to a full-time level. Mixing flavors of the Cult, the Stones and AC/DC influenced with the rootsy goodness of the likes of the White Stripes & Neil Young, and the heaviness at times of 'Sabbath, Zombie and Motorhead, the band will definitely harness all that is good in rock, crushing all things trendy and nutless in their path. The scream of guitars being pummeled is sure to make your ears bleed and you'll masochistically still beg for more. Join up with the Honourable Thieves and bring REAL rock music back to the foreground to put rapcore and tennybopper metal trendiness back where it belongs-in the toilet!
