Blue Skies Burning fuses these qualities with a darker side of eerie, metallic guitars, crushing, pounding percussion, and high pitched desperate screams espousing on themes of joy, fear, life, and death. A machine susstained on solely melody and despair. Often compared to the likes of older Grade, As Friends Rust, You and I, and Anasarca, yet still retaining their own sound.

Artist History Blue Skies Burning was conceived in November of 1998. In that time we have accomplished more than we have ever thought we could. We have played with some amazing bands, met some great people through our travels, recorded a demo and a CDEP, watched our local scene grow, and most of all, we feel we have a very exciting future ahead of us. Our common goal is to combine melody, emotion, and aggression. This band is an outlet of our pain, joys, fears, frustrations, regrets, and sadness. The best part about it, is that we are five very different individuals and each of us has something different to share. From the likes of hardcore, metal, emo, pop punk, shoegazer, rock, jazz, and blues, we all come from different musical and personal backgrounds.
