Currently based in Seattle, Washington, Mista Ocktober & The Cypha is set to unleash it's raw brand of hiphop music to the masses. Crushing the so called east/west rivalry, these artists come from various different areas to represent one uniform sound. Front man, Kevin Frost (a.k.a. Mista Ocktober) is from New Jersey, Greg Cook (South Paw) is from Alabama and Cornelius Jones (Black) is straight from california. The bulk of the production is handled by the fourth member, Smith Jean-Baptiste (Supreme) from New York. While their music is mostly considered to be reality based, they do not come with the same old shoot 'em up or big baller mentality that saturates today's market. They believe there's a difference between telling it like it is and glorifying it. Even thought Mista Ock is the veteran emcee of the bunch, Black and South Paw are quickly developing and becoming skilled emcees in their own rights.
