Artist History
born 1817, died 1869. Lefébure-Wely was organist in 3 Churches in Paris, France: Saint-Roch, La Madeleine and Saint-Sulpice. He wrote many works for all keyboard instruments of that time, organ, piano, harmonium and all related instruments. His organ works include: 12 Offertoires op. 34 and op. 35; 10 Meditaciones religiosas op. 122, L'Office Catholique op. 148, L'Organiste Moderne. But his oeuvre for harmonium or piano is even bigger. |
