Artist History Tyrone Barnett and Ian Edwards first collaborated in summer of '98, after meeting at a local Fair. They exchanged songs and ideas for 1 1/2 years before going separate ways. Tyrone met Will Clark and Andrew Lorish in early February 2000 at original bassist Garrett Brown's birthday jam session. Not long after, Garrett was decapitated in a most gruesome car accident, and was replaced on bass guitars by then-guitarist Andrew Lorish. Ian Edwards soon rejoined with Tyrone and took over Wait's lead guitars. After four months of intense rehearsal, WAIT played their first gig at Chez Ray's North Beach Cafe, June 10, 2000, much to the delight of a packed screaming audience.
