Artist History
I was born on Fort Ord in 1969. They immediately tore the hospital down after I was born.
I began singing and on the stage when I was 5.
When I was 7 I started to write songs.
When I was 10 and 11 I took private vocal training under the tutelage of Nick Williams.
Then I discovered Rock Music and was hooked.
Throughout high school I sang in various vocal ensembles and appeared in musical theatre.
Joined my first rock band when I was 16.
Started co-producing recording sessions when I was 17.
Started The Point and began collaborating with Pea Hicks when I was 19.
Moved back to the Monterey area in 1992 and formed the seminal indie band Nectar of the Gods.
Quit Nectar in 1995 and my first Daughter was born.
Returned to San Diego in 1999 and began playing various open mics.
Signed on with Luminosity Music in 2001, released the albums, and began recording with Uncle Bri again. We started performing together again during the summer of 2001.
And so on and so forth. |

Press Reviews
Beth Peerless, CoastWeekly: A refreshing new sound-sizzling hot...a raucous and infectious cocktail of influences...arrangements are screamingly danceable...vocals shine and energy is high.
Matt Heimbold, The Sun: Swanky tasty morsels...very clever new and satisfying. High ratings for this lad.
Mac McDonald, Monterey County Herald: Confounds all expectations...envigorating fresh and innovative. Johnny Love is ready for the challenge.
Elizabeth Cowley, The Sun: And who is Johnny Love? He is an immature tantrum throwing Rock Genius. Johnny LOve will push you right on over the edge. I was most impressed. He is exciting and charismatic.
