Artist History
In October of 1999, the band be known as SIFT from San Francisco, California completed their line-up. Every member knew that this collection of artists was going to bring something new and interesting to a waning music scene. At the core lies the voice of Chris Dinsmore, angry and beautiful, crying out to the frustration in us all. His lyrics come from deep inside and resonate pain as well as redemption. Guitarists Joe Biagini and Ted Aguilar create low end, high intensity textures, instinctively complimenting each other with out pretense.Percussionist Danny Stevenson and bassist Badger conjure forth addictive tribal rhythms laced with violent bass lines, insuring the music be felt as well as heard. Woven throughout, is keyboardist Brett Crane, whose dark and emotive driven sounds complete the overall sensory impact of the music.SIFT promises high-energy performances and honest music written on a higher level. This band will continue to challenge themselves to always be powerful and beautiful, providing a compelling choice for the dedicated music fan. |
