Artist description This alternative hardcore/emocore quartet based out of the creative midwestern city of St. Louis, Mo, succeed in bringing a fresh and unique sound to the ears of open listeners. Influences ranging from the structured but crunchy guitar riffs of the Deftones and Blindside, along with the melodic tones of Taproot and Glassjaw, along with a thin outer shell of hardcore - along the lines of Will Haven. They recorded and released their first demo "Observe to Follow" in Oct./Nov. 2000 where it still circulates strongly in the underground scene. Although their style at that time leaned more towards the rapcore genre, what they have created recently is a whole new style that really cannot be labeled...although it tends to get remarks of being a "real catchy, new type of hardcore." In January 2002, Ninetrigger went back into the studio to start recording on their first full-length titled "Divide the Sky,". Finally, grasping the sound that is now their creative trade mark, Ninetrigger has again began to rise from the underground scene as they start their climb to the top. Ninetrigger is an honest and hard-working band that is out to prove that their innovative sound is one to be heard and appreciated by fans everywhere. They have built a big supporting fan-base in St. Louis, along with a huge fan-base online within the entire U.S. and around the globe in many different countries. They have had the privilage to share stages in St. Louis and other cities and states with many great underground bands along with such signed acts as Shootyz Groove,Gryp and Marz.
