Artist description
It is just me, my guitar, keyboard and PC. The music comes from the early days of the Industrial Revolution, with an emphasis on the emergence of organised labour and the development of the trade unions. The material comes from various sources, but I must mention my bible, Roy Palmer's most excellent work, "A Touch on the Times, Songs of Social Change, 1770-1914", Penguin Education, 1974. If you like the songs on here, you will love this book - that's where I got most of my material, and all of my inspiration. |
