Guitarist Carlos Paras serves up his vocals in the pouty brat style that's become the hallmark of the genre's local adherents. He, drummer Duncan Scott and bassist Justin La have been playing together since early 2000. In this short time, the three have congealed their musical styles into a fairly seamless repertoire. Instrumentally, High Bias clocks in way above average. Considering this, perhaps it's not suprising that their love songs are as likely to be odes to the band as they are odes to a flesh-and-blood lover.
