Artist History A participant in the Austin music scene since the early '90s, I have grown weary of the conformity which has detracted from my unique artistic vision. Bypassing the middlemen who either misunderstood my aims or were too afraid to wander from contemporary musical trends, I have focused on perfecting this vision in the studio by myself, resulting in a highly unique, evocative sound. In short, I'm not in it just for the chicks! I came to the conclusion that, if working with others, all participants should be working together as a unit, toward a common musical goal: working in unison, each instrument doing it's job, and not interfering with the other parts. If not, the music will always be inferior and sub-par. Unfortunately, the politics and complications of a band situation make this task more difficult, because no one likes a dictatorial control freak! That's why I've been known to state that "if I only had five of myself, my musical vision would manifest itself." Well, here I am, a work in progress
