Artist description
All of the members of The UN have had their hands in a lot of music over their years as emcee’s, but had no idea that they would be able to create a group with so much talent and versatility. Each member brings a distinct sound and style to the group.
Pakman Karper has the kind of style that everyone can feel, but most importantly he can communicate extremely well with the streets. 3rd Element can not only rap and trade verses with the best of them, but he can also sing heavenly (which the ladies eat up). Herm Dizzle brings creative wordplay, and kind of balances everything out with his ability to showcase his versatility. The name “UN” is short for “Untouchable,” because as a group of three artists they feel when they are making music together they are untouchable.

Artist History
The UN was originally formed by Herm & 3rd while they were attending college at Clarion University (Western PA). Herm & 3rd (with three other members at the time) all put their love and talents for making music together and formed a group named the UN (short for The Untouchables). At that point Pakman was not in the picture, until Herm & 3rd reached out to him for a collaboration for a song called “Drop The Mic.”
In September of 2002, The UN released their 1st single “Papi Chulo” in the Pittburgh area. The single received a lot of love from local urban radio station WAMO-FM 106.7. “Papi Chulo” was entered into a contest that they run for local artists called “Battle Of The Beats.” “Papi Chulo” won this contest for three weeks in a row, earning regular rotation for as long as it continued to win. This rotation gave them a lot of exposure throughout the city of Pittsburgh. After the contest airplay, many things began to fall in place.
After opening for the Big Tymers & Kid Capri in August of 2002 in Pittsburgh, Club Owners & Concert Promoters Vernon “Ted” Jackson & Dwayne “DJ” Moore Jr., The UN decided to accept a management & partnership offer from the promoters to take their careers to new heights. The new team decided to start the Independent label, UN Inc. and began to aggressively record material for their album, “UNtitled” In between all of the performing for National recording artists like Mad Skillz, Slum Village, Truth Hurts & B-Rich.
UN Inc. is currently developing all of their promotional material including logo, flyer, poster, cd cover, website, & commercial designs. UN Inc. is also preparing to release The UN’s debut album Untitled. Together UN Inc. & The UN are focused on aggressively recording, promoting, & performing Untouchable smash hits!
Pakman did not attend college with the other two members, but he was one of the most popular rap artists out of Beaver County, and that is where Herm ran into him. After a few collaborations with Herm & 3rd, Pakman was embraced as a member of the UN.
