Artist description
I shudder at the thought of locking myself into playing only one genre of music. I have assimilated a myriad of influences over the years and I like to think that all of it shows up one way or another in what I do. Some of my music is acoustic guitar & vocals, kind of a modern folk. Other songs fall more into a "rockish" category. Still others are purely electronic pieces, ranging from arranged pieces to droning, atmospheirc stuff. In short, I simply explore whatever sonic territories interest me at a particular moment. Care to join me? |

Artist History
I began playing guitar in 1967. From the very start I was writing my own songs. In the 1970s I began working with synthesizers (my first was a Moog Sonic 5--love those knobs and switches!). While most of my performance background has been in the field of rock (many shades) I have also, at one time or another, performed jazz, folk, classical, improvised/experimental, even a bit of country. In recent years I have been performing live around Eugene, Oregon, both as a solo (acoustic) act and with the acid pop band, Oyster Lucy and the avant-improv noise band, The Bachs Of Dirt. |
