Artist description
Big Moxie was born late in the year 2000. Preceding this, the majority of the members played in a little band called “The Stumbles” which had it’s own share of success via two CD’s, hundreds of gigs, major/independent record label interest, and music industry showcases in New York and Phoenix. After a short hiatus, Mark Moffatt (vocals/guitar), Matt Sadler (bass), Scott Hessel(drums) reformed and added guitar whiz Allen Zwolle to create Big Moxie. In it’s short life, Big Moxie is receiving accolades from local newspaper web sites, being featured on local compilation CD’s, as well as spotlighted on radio stations KEDJ 103.9 and KZON 101.5 in Phoenix. The band’s song “Who Cares?” was recently featured on a “Best of Alternative” show by MP3.com, which broadcasts weekly on various stations across the country. With a brand new CD due out fall of 2001, Big Moxie continues to hone its high energy live shows with it’s own brand of groove-driven, pop-hooked, straight-up, no-excuses rock-n-roll.
