Artist description The Innocence of Time writes and records new music in the combined styles of the 60's, 70's, and 80's. The original project (entitled "Innocence Sought") was completed in 1983 but never commercially released. Now, after seventeen years, Tom Cleary (the bandleader) has reformed the band with two other members of the original line-up (Sal Mingoia and George Muto) to release a new project in 2001. The new project (comprised of six songs) will be entitled "Innocence Found." Tom refers to the band's style as a "new oldies" rock band and is promoting the concept of writing and recording new music in classic styles. Recently, Steve Allen (from www.about.com) selected "You've Gotta Hold On" from the band's 1983 project as his February, 2001 "choice MP3 pick." Additionally, Peter Noone (from Herman's Hermits) recognized the band by establishing a link on his official website.
