Artist History
Kite Flying Society has been unleashing its passionate emotionally driven metal sound since the summer of '99, sharing bills with such popular acts as City Of Catapillar, the Locust, Joshua Fit For Battle, Waifle, Glasseater, Underoath, PG99, Neil Perry, Majority Rule, the Hope Conspiracy, Forstella Ford, Spirit of Versailles, Milemarker, Blackout Terror, Fin Fang Foom, the August Prophecy, Breaking Pangea, Examination Of The, Until the End and Remembering Never. The group has released a self-funded seven-inch single (out-of-print), a 7-song CDEP on Goodbye Blue Skies Records (soon to be out-of-print, as well), and a 6-song MCD/10", entitled "Jochem," on Twentyseven Records. With a European tour in the works, Kite Flying Society has traveled across the East Coast and Midwest on three different occasions.
