Artist History My name is Creed Henry Taylor. I'm the bandleader of a "roadhouse" style country and western band which performs my songs as well as vintage/classic C & W. Our show is fun and exciting and the music is played with a lot of energy and style.My band and I just completed our 10-song original album, Poor Boy Vacation. The album was recorded and mixed at Cribworks Studio in Austin, Texas by Merel Bregante. Merel recently cut albums for Chris Wall and Reckless Kelly and his understanding of our retro- twangy sound made him and his studio the natural choice. The album delivers our sound and my songs with the same energy and grit of our live shows.Now that the album's done, I'm taking the band to live music venues around the country. I have opened shows for national country stars such as John Anderson and Tracy Lawrence, as well as many other regional acts. Our music fits other genres as well; I once had the honor of being the sole opening act for the legendary Bob Dylan in San Antonio, Texas. Though I'm the veteran of many concerts and outdoor festivals, the band and I have a great love for the Texas hideaway honky-tonks and dance halls, where we can be close to the people and feel the music. We're ready to play every one of these in Texas and beyond.You may be hearing us on your local radio as more stations are adding Poor Boy Vacation to their play list. We hope to see you soon on the honky-tonk trail. It will be a pleasure and a privilege to entertain you.
