Artist History
Originally formed in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the band has gone through several incarnations.The founding members included Josh Rogers, Mike DeRuiter and Derek Phillips from the legendary Kalamazoo garage rock band The Vantrells. Lead guitarist, Jeremy Spanos hailed from space rock group Sofia Ramona. The band's laidback sound was rounded out with Dano Laninga on accordion. Phillips, soon moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan where he hooked up with country rockers Moline Dorr.Moline Dorr consisted of Matt Sahlgren on bass, Nate Frie on slide guitar and Jude Lemrow on drums.Lemrow and Phillips now live in Chicago where they are busy recruiting new members for the resurrectedBlue Ribbon Brothers. |
