    Artist description
A one man, all instrumental effort focusing on the use of ambience, soundscapes, and dream-like interlude in rock, fusion, electronic, dance, and progressive rock structures. Taking the lessons learned in the instrumental complexity of progressive jazz-rock fusion, welding it to the production sophistication of techno/trance/ambient music and adding just the right ingredients of guitars, synthesizers and drums to make it interesting to fans of all of the above. Not being afraid of being sophisticated or hypnotic for its own sake.

    Artist History
Todd Madson, the individual responsible for what you hear developed the aliensporebomb concept sometime in early 1992 after his long-time band Hydravian went on hiatus. With some of the former members overseas for studies and others getting married, Todd wanted to stay involved in music yet didn't necessarily want to be involved in another band. The germ of the concept developed around the Roland R-5 Human Rhythm composer and developed from there. His main instrument is primarily guitar, but via necessity had to learn the instruments of rock in order to realize the concept. Gradually, synthesizers, sequencing and other technological things were brought in until you hear today. Also having access to multi-track recording equipment allowed him to further expand the concept and learn production and engineering techniques. Today, the "group" is primarily heard on the internet as doing this sort of thing live would necessitate a bandful of musicians. Todd has had 22 years of experience as a guitarist and

Remembrances that came to mind included Camel, Gong, and some other obscure things I can't place at the moment. You no doubt spent a lot of time putting this all together and that shows. Nice sound and thanks for..letting.. us all check out. ksmrClean, a Harmony Central Guitar Forum Member on Late Nite 17Nov98 03:50Just listened to it--very nice arrangement--mesmerizing. More!Fingerus Arthriticus yet another Harmony Central Guitar Forum member, on Requiem, 16Nov98, 06:26 Worth the wait Todd, worth the wait. (no doubt referring to the long wait for these via standard modem!)Regarding The Gift, by dragon5 Dec 28 1999Reminds me of Picasso's "Starry Night"Regarding Sundown Blues, by J.Singer yet anotherHarmony Central Guitar Forum member...Very spacey instrumental with lots of synth space sounds. More of a mood piece than a guitar tune although the melody is carried by the guitar. This tune was created using a different perspective... More of a textural thing. Very long spacey stuff to have on as background relaxation/mood music. And these are just some of the reviews...
