Artist description
A new Epic power metal sensational act . Thy Majestie are here to prove that they are able to create a personal style , full of different atmoshperes and emotion that match together power-metal , progressive rock, medieval, folk & classical music. Their debut-album , "The lasting power" , mirrors different musical shades : power , energy , melody , drama , passion & technique. An incredible performance evaluated by the guest act of the glorious "Teatro Massimo" opera choir (from Palermo)...The influences of Thy Majestie are several, and this is what makes their style unique, full of facets ,but the still soul of the band is power-metal,and you can hear that listening to the rhythm arrangements by thrashing double bass-drum,but at the same time various and original, and furthermore with continuous tempos jerkings:the result is a non-boring music in spite of the length of the tracks. The arrangements were created to be mighty and melodic at the same time.An important role is done by the keyboards that with medieval melodies feature the songs, and the guitars that support them by powerful rhythm sections followed by the main vocal melodies, the choirs provide to turn the song more powerful. The debut album "The Lasting power" is available out now for SCARLET records (www.scarletrecords.it). 15 tracks of power & melody |
