Artist description The Committee is a Midwest band combining elements of funk, hip-hop and jazz into an infectiously danceable mixture of sound. We are a seven-piece band with drums, bass, keys, guitar, and horns (trumpet, alto sax, tenor sax).

Artist History We started the band about two years ago while students at Lawrence University. We have played numberous gigs around campus and in venues around the Fox Valley.

Group Members Dan Asher plays the bass. Kyle Struve plays the drums. Andrei Chahine plays keys. Dylan Jones plays Guitar. Kyle Simpson plays trumpet and flugel. Josh Vande Hey plays tenor and soprano saxes. Jared Thomas plays bari and alto saxes.
