Things some very nice people have had to say about The Pain of Pleasure! Kaleidoscope Magazine-Necromantik Sunshine are an American band, who have been going for a couple of years now, and this is their 2nd album. Musically, it's pretty electo-industrial.,with some driving rhythms, and is very danceable, with a certai Tubeway Army feel to itwhich also comes over in the lyrics, although the vocals are mogood songs can easilyre of a cross between Marilyn Manson during his less excessive moments, and our own Nekromantik! One of the tracks is a Danzig(NecroNote:actually the Misfits) cover-"London Dungeon"-and is a good example of how good songs can easily cross genre boundaries, and still fit in well on an album. Definately one for the lovers of good dancey clubbing music, and whilst it works well at home as well, I would urge all Dj's to get a copy of this CD. It'll fill your dancefloors immediately!Outburn magazine-MELODIC GOTH WITH AN ELECTRO EDGEPennsylvania's Necromantik Sunshine. present ten catchy tunes (plus a hidden track!) of pure goth rock with male vocals in the vein of London After Midnight. This impressive debut is sure to hit it big in the danceclubs. (5/5)  Grave Reviews E-Zine-Necromantik Sunshine from Philadelphia, Pa blends smooth dark and cold gothic elements and industrial power though crunchy guitar chords over the haunting melodic synths. The songs are very catchy and danceable. If you like Depeche Mode mixed with Marilyn Manson than this is your band What I liked about the synth work and programming that gives the band their own style, was how they created a pumping feeling and the music does not die down in the middle of the song. I also liked the chord progressions with the guitars and how they kept flowing with the song non-stop. I can tell that there was a lot of well-done production work with this album. There are many standout songs on this CD like ÒPossessionÓ that has strong industrial texture with good gothic tones, and added female backing vocals to give it some spice and sexiness. Other notable songs are ÒLonelyÓ, ÒRewireÓ, ÒX-ratedÓ and ÒNecromantik SunshineÓ that all have the same tones of fast industrial music with circling synths with gothic coldness in the background. Some of the gothic coldness reminded me of Rasion d' Etre soundscapes . This is definitely a band to check out.
