Artist description L.J.C.R.U. stands for "Lord Jesus Christ Rules Us" which states that we believe that Christ is the head of our lives. We also believe he desires a relationship with people individually that is why we want to make him known. Currently we consist of 2 EmCees (Kaze & LJC) which means we're involved in every aspect of the music from composition, writing lyrics, recording, producing, performing, etc.

Artist History Me and Kaze met up, originally, early '98 at a bible study group. We discovered that we both liked Hip Hop among various other interests that we shared, most importantly our faith in Jesus Christ. After many freestyle sessions at Kaze's house and odd verses written here and there, we decided to form something solid, in form of a crew. The name (spontaneously) given to us by an announcer at our first gig together was "L & J". This then became "LJ-CREW" until recently transformed into "L.J.C.R.U." At the moment we are building up our arsenal of beats and starting writing fresh kinds of lyrics. There is also the possibility of new members coming up. Adjei Man has collaborated with us on "The World Is A Vampire" and "Check It Out" but hasn't been too involved otherwise. This could change in the near future. Also several musician friends have expressed an interest in collaborating with The Cru, results awaited soon.
