Artist description
Improvisational pianist/keyboardist,
artist/sculptor, stone carver.
Keith Waa recorded "Music For Dreams" in the mountains of Maine - Spontaneous live recordings on digital and vintage analog equipment, at The Outlook - engineered and produced by Ted St.Pierre. The 62 minute cd was edited from a series of 3 2-hour recordings.
Keith's musical work is improvisational, emotional, experimental, and melodic.
Though somber at times, it is ultimately an expression of joy and exaltment of life.
A great album for listening while reading fiction, or while falling asleep, and dreaming.

Artist History
"I'm mostly influenced by my own sensory input, by myself more than anything. My own process of organization. It's hard to escape the potential misconstructions of the world that my own brain organizes of my sensory input. I see systems upon systems upon subsystems - constant organization. I am fascinated with organization. Even though things seem spontaneous or dissonant, I see hidden or peripheral not-so-evident organization." from an interview with Keith Waa, 2001 |
