Artist History
Born 1962 in Helsinki, Finland. Spent most of the seventies listening pop from the radio, after hearing enough blues-based music and the flourishing Finnish new wave scene joined a few bands as a bassist and songwriter. Bought the first 4-track recorder to demo songs for the band, then got interested in other forms of music created for the tape. Finally, mid-nineties, got involved with various theatre groups as a composer/musician. Theatre performances provided a good outlet for the more ambient stuff. Some of the music has been described as "cinematographic", some as an "extra actor". |
