Artist History
Billy Lincoln has been composing for Film and TV since 1992 when he had the opportunity to create an exciting rock score for the Warren Miller ski classic "Steeper & Deeper". Since then, Billy has forged a style all his own by combining lush classical orchestration with modern techno, rock, and hip-hop grooves. Billy's most recent work includes Films such as "Doomsday Man" starring Esai Morales and "Dying on the Edge" starring John Herd. His Television credits include Fox's "Partners" starring John Cryer, several ABC Movies of the Week, many Commercials, and Movie Trailers. Along with composing for film and TV, Billy has produced and recorded albums for notable rock bands such as The Untouchables, Mary's Danish, and a children's album for Rhino Records featuring members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Beastie Boys. Billy now produces albums with his own modern-pop band, Girl Next Door, where their songs have been featured in the Miramax Film's Soundtrack "Boys and Girls", "She's All That", and FOX Network's "Time of Your Life" starring Jennifer Love Hewitt. |
