BICHOS RAROS are a Spanish Power Pop band,who like to play their own pop songs. They come from South East Spain, next to the Mediterranean, where there´s plenty of beautiful girls, cold beer and warm nights of rock & roll. A perfect place to play the best Power-Pop.

Artist History BICHOS RAROS was born in 1996 at "La Manga del Mar Menor" (Cartagena-Spain) near the beach, formed by four old friends who had played in different bands, such as "Protones", "La Raya y Sus Adictos", "Moonshiners" and others. Together they decided to play the best Spanish Power Pop in the world...BICHOS RAROS nace en el año 1997 aproximadamente,tras juntarse cuatro buenos colegas, cuyas bandas anteriores fueron disueltas o reestructuradas por unos u otros motivos, tales como LA RAYA Y SUS ADICTOS de Cartagena (Santy y Fede), o los PROTONES de Madrid (Fede), o DIARREA de Denia (Juan). El cantante Pepe viene de cantar sus temas en el submundo de los pasillos del metro de Madrid y tugurios y bares de otras ciudades, como Londres, Paris, Nairobi...El destino quiso que se juntaran para hacer realidad algunas ideas musicales propias guardadas en la manga y otras nuevas creadas a partir de algunos años de ensayos y de cabezonería... El resultado, una banda de Power Pop kañero, melódico, contundente, visceral y energético llamada BICHOS RAROS.
